WHY ME?
Because I understand this chapter of life from the inside.
Over the past few years, I’ve been navigating post viral fatigue and the emotional and physical shifts of perimenopause. Some days yoga is the only thing that makes me feel remotely human again. My practice brings me back into my body, my breath, and my sense of self again.
I discoverer yoga during lockdown and it was a lightbulb moment, the key that unlocked those parts of me I thought I’d lost. That girl, you know the one, the fearless one, the brave one, the one that speaks up and knows her own mind. I was slowly rediscovering her again and it felt, well, empowering and honestly, quite wonderful.
And I realised something important; we don’t lose ourselves all at once, it happens quietly, slowly, in the background of long to-do lists, over giving, overthinking, trying to be everything for everyone, holding it all together and by being “fine”, all whilst holding a quiet exhaustion we rarely speak out loud.
This is a place where you can receive support and nourishment without apology or guilt
That’s why I created Balance & Bliss NOT as another yoga subscription, but as a place you can land, where you can take off the weight of being the strong one, and soften.
A place where you don’t need to have it all figured out.
My teaching is rooted in lived experience, in compassion, in kindness, in the real, tender rhythms of womanhood.
