Arrive exactly as you are

Whether you’re stepping onto a yoga mat (in your pyjamas, that’s very welcome here). Planning your wedding with the added chaos that comes with that, or finding yourself somewhere in the throes of perimenopause wondering how everything got so loud and quite frankly, annoying, I can help you.

You don’t need to arrive here with it all figured out. And really, if you did, you probably wouldn’t need me. So come as you are, flustered, tentative or sliding sideways through the door, I genuinely don’t mind.

We’ll figure it out together.

I’m Claire and yes I practise yoga in my pyjamas (don’t worry, I don’t teach like that) and its my favourite way to start my day. There’s plenty of perfectly curated yoga teachers in matching lycra all over the internet.

I am not one of them.

Here you will find a warm, welcoming space where I blend yoga, holistic treatments and self care practices that help you feel more like you again

THE WORK I DO

Over the years, I’ve worn a few hats. I’ve worked in different places and industries, and I totally understand stress, anxiety and pressure and what it feels like when life feels like too much.

Alongside that, I trained in massage and holistic therapies, where I help women slow down, soften and unhunch their shoulders. I also have 16 years wedding industry experience, as wedding coordinator for English Heritage and then as a bridal makeup artist, where I’ve seen every kind of wedding chaos imaginable.

For the past 4 years I’ve taught yoga in a really accessible, grounding way that is so far removed from the intimidating wellness spaces you see on social media. And no, I do not teach handstands.

I’ve blended all of these experiences into the offerings and services you see today, all around helping women manage real life. The stressful times, the absolutely joyful ones and everything in between

not every healing or wellbeing space needs to feel heavy

You can find healing through warmth, humour and finding the joy again. With lighter energy, because it doesn’t always have to feel like you’re swimming through treacle.

I’ve often been told ‘you’re like a breath of fresh air’ and I’m never sure how to take it. Maybe it’s my way of being honest, using warmth and humour to soften it, but I still say it how it is, because it’s often what other people are already thinking anyway, and there’s a collective sigh of relief that someone said something.

I had it a lot in places I’ve worked. People were sometimes taken aback by the level of openness, but they really appreciated it. It was like I gave a permission slip to everyone in the room to be real and be themselves.

I think that’s my gift, giving people invisible permission to just be who they are

Pyjamas welcome. Tea encouraged

A NOTE FROM ME

You don’t need to have it all together here. I don’t either and neither do my friends. We just keep showing up, having a laugh, having a wobble, drinking tea and getting on with life.

And in the words of Mark Darcy “I like you, just as you are”

Same.

Covering Cornwall, Devon and Dorset

I love Claire’s yoga classes. They’re always so full of warmth and good humour, just like Claire herself. Her guidance on posture and transitions is the clearest and easiest to follow of any yoga class I’ve been to

So full of warmth and good humour...

Claire intuitively weaves themes into each class that always feel surprisingly relevant. It’s so refreshing to find yoga that isn’t focused on perfect postures or the best lycra! Her warmth and open-heartedness is apparent as soon as you meet her

So refreshing to find a class that isn't stuck on the perfect posture...

Claire provides a supportive and welcoming space that gives you the structure, permission and guidance to slow down, reconnect with yourself and find calm in a way that actually fits into real life

Giving yourself permission to slow down...
